Basketball Recap: Olympic Trojans vs. Palisades Pumas
After losing to Palisades the last time they met, Olympic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Olympic Trojans snuck past the Palisades Pumas with a 59-55 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
JD Terrell was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 12 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. De'Angelo Hall was another key player, putting up seven points.
Olympic was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palisades only racked up five assists.
Palisades' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tymon Simpkins, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aurek Fenn, who posted nine points.
