Paradise took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Pierce, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats won by a run and slipped past the Bears 8-7. With that victory, the Bobcats brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Josh Einhaus was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. He also hit two doubles, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Bunch, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Paradise's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Pierce, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paradise is set to face off against their familiar foe Durham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pierce will take on rival the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
