Softball Recap: Payette's Losing Streak Snapped at 22 Games

Payette had to endure a 22-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the American Falls Beavers on Saturday, sneaking past 11-10. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Beavers on Saturday, they had to take a 14-3 defeat.

Payette's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for American Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Payette will host Nampa Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Falls, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Wendell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
