Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kalkaska). Everything went their way against the Sault Area Blue Devils on Monday as the Kalkaska Blazers made off with a 72-52 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Blazers have posted since December 20, 2024.

Kalkaska's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Sault Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Kalkaska will take on Cheboygan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kalkaska has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Sault Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
