Independence won the last time they faced Ravenwood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles skirted past the Raptors 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 12th.

Independence's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lanie Yoon, who had 18 digs and four aces. Yoon has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Yoon wasn't the only good servers: Independence was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. The Eagles are 11-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Independence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season. As for Ravenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Franklin on the 4th. Ravenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
