Softball Game Preview: Pacifica Tritons vs. Bishop Diego Cardinals

The Pacifica Tritons will take on the Bishop Diego Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pacifica came up short against Ventura on Tuesday, falling 20-10. The Tritons haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Aubrey Colvin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Izabella Landeros, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 23 runs the game before, Bishop Diego was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to Foothill Tech.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bishop Diego, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
