Volleyball Game Preview: Warner Christian Academy Eagles vs. Tocoi Creek Toros

The Warner Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Tocoi Creek Toros at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Warner Christian Academy has struggled recently with nine defeats in a row, while Tocoi Creek will arrive with eight straight wins.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Warner Christian Academy challenged Menendez on Monday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Falcons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Tocoi Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Nease on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

While Tocoi Creek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Nease scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Warner Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Tocoi Creek, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
