Softball Recap: Paramus Catholic Comes Up Short

Paramus Catholic made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Immaculate Heart Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Paladins fell just short of the Blue Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The matchup marked the Paladins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Paramus Catholic's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Immaculate Heart Academy, their record is now 9-1-1.

Coming up, Paramus Catholic will host Bergen Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immaculate Heart Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Indian Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
