Basketball Recap: Forest Lake Academy Comes Up Short

Forest Lake Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Granger Christian on Thursday. The Forest Lake Academy Panthers took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granger Christian Knights. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 683rd in Florida, while the Knights are ranked 336th in Indiana).

Forest Lake Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Granger Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Shenandoah Valley Academy the next time they take the court. Granger Christian will head out to face Shenandoah Valley Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while Forest Lake Academy will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
