Softball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan        
        
		
             Lincoln Northwest entered their tilt with Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan on Monday with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan by a score of  11-8. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered  a  5-3  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 The team  relied heavily on  Lyrik Harris, who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, three  RBI, and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexa Dankert, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lincoln Northwest  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with ten  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan only tossed six.
 Lincoln Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record  this season.
 Lincoln Northwest will take on Gretna at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan, they will head out to  face off against Cass County Central  on Thursday.
