Crestwood is 9-1 against Thurston since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Crestwood Chargers will challenge the Thurston Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Crestwood will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Crestwood made off with a 51-50 victory over Marian.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Thurston duked it out with Divine Child on Tuesday. Thurston took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Divine Child. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Falcons are ranked 199th).

Crestwood pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Thurston, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Crestwood strolled past Thurston in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crestwood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
