Soccer Game Preview: Bell vs. Coolidge + How To Watch

The Bell Griffins will head out on the road to take on the Coolidge Colts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Bell is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Banneker, who was ranked 13th at the time (Bell was ranked 11th). The Griffins walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Emmanuel Villalous and Bryan Flores scored all three of Bell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Coolidge was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor Washington Latin Public Charter School could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Walter Marin Olmos hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Bell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. With that draw, Coolidge's record moves to 6-2-2.
