 Carbon Hill has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the Red Bay Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Carbon Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game this season.
 Last Tuesday, Carbon Hill fell victim to a  rough 12-2 loss at the hands of Sumiton Christian. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carbon Hill in their matchups with Sumiton Christian: they've now lost five in a row.

 Meanwhile, Red Bay waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   3-0  win over the Bulldogs. After  a  12-7 finish the last time they played, Red Bay and Sheffield decided to play a little more cautiously this time around.
 Carbon Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Red Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Red Bay's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Carbon Hill hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .316.
