Davie's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Parkland Mustangs get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Davie's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-6. As for Parkland, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Davie beat the Mustangs by a score of 17-2 later that day.
