Baseball Recap: Tuslaw Takes a Loss

Tuslaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Triway Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

Tuslaw saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Reinhart, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Tuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Triway, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Tuslaw and Triway should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Mustangs (ranked 263rd) will meet East Canton (ranked 597th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Triway will take on Fairless at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (81 vs. 313).
