Soccer Recap: Crete-Monee Takes a Loss

Crete-Monee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Oak Forest Bengals. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Crete-Monee were already down 5-1.

Crete-Monee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oak Forest, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crete-Monee will challenge Rich Township at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Crete-Monee are facing Rich Township at the right time seeing as Rich Township are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Oak Forest, they will take on Richards at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Oak Forest's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
