Basketball Recap: Central Kitsap Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Central Kitsap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Timberline Blazers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Leading Timberline to victory were Hannah Jackson and Jaylah Evans. Jackson posted 11 points and five steals, while Evans earned 16 points and four steals. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Central Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Timberline, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Central Kitsap has already played their next game, a 51-45 victory against Capital on the 11th. As for Timberline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-30 defeat against Bellarmine Prep on the 11th.
