Baseball Recap: Vestaburg's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Vestaburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Breckenridge Huskies on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Keegan Beetley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Vestaburg's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-8-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Halgren, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
