Volleyball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the James River Midlothian Rapids. The shutout was out of character for the Lancers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Manchester and nudges their season record down to 10-4. As for James River Midlothian, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Manchester will face off against L.C. Bird at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for James River Midlothian, they will square off against Glen Allen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
