Volleyball Recap: Marlette Takes a Loss

Marlette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Port Huron Northern Huskies. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marlette's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Port Huron Northern, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 31-10-1.

Marlette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Fenton on the 29th. As for Port Huron Northern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Croswell-Lexington on the 29th.
