It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cherokee had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 108-28 win over the Christ the King Crusaders. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 23 matches by 31 points or more this season.

Whitney Rogers was her usual excellent self, going 13-for-19 to rack up 31 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Rogers, who shot 63% from the field on her way to 15 points and eight steals.

When it comes to explaining why Christ the King lost, don't look at Claire Broda. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points. Rosie Gorman was another key player, putting up six points.

Cherokee pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their 27th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.6 points over those games. As for Christ the King, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7.

Cherokee has already played their next game, a 69-50 win against Albemarle on the 7th. Christ the King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
