Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Edwards). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Rosholt Hornets on Monday. Considering the Blackhawks' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Port Edwards' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Rosholt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Port Edwards will take on rival Tri-County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rosholt is set to face off against their familiar foe Pittsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
