Meanwhile, Jefferson County waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 21-13 win over the Pirates.
It was another big night for Malik Johnson, who threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 111 yards on only ten carries. A healthy portion of that aerial production (108 yards to be exact) went to Xaiver Miller.
Jefferson County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
