Volleyball Recap: Kewaskum Victorious

Kewaskum posted their closest win since October 8, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Marshfield Tigers. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Marshfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Angela Barnhardt, who had 12 digs and four aces. Paige Schlagenhaft was another key player, getting 15 assists and nine digs.

Kewaskum has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.

Kewaskum has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against D.C. Everest on the 27th. As for Marshfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wausau West on the 2nd.
