De La Salle Collegiate won the last time they faced Athens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The De La Salle Collegiate Pilots breezed past the Athens Red Hawks to the tune of 76-41. The contest marked the Pilots' most dominant victory of the season.

Athens' loss came despite strong showings from Nathan Johnson and Alan Spahic. Johnson posted eight points, while Spahic scored nine points.

De La Salle Collegiate is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. With the defeat, Athens broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-16.

Looking ahead, De La Salle Collegiate will square off against L'Anse Creuse North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. L'Anse Creuse North will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something De La Salle Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
