Baseball Recap: Soddy Daisy Gets the Win

Soddy Daisy won the last time they faced Rhea County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Soddy Daisy Trojans came out on top against the Rhea County Golden Eagles by a score of 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Stephen Vickers looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Logan Williams was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Jake Jackson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-2.

Soddy Daisy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.
