Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Truckee walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Dayton Dust Devils on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wolverines are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Averi Costa was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Truckee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last five matches.

When it comes to explaining why Dayton lost, don't look at ARACELI ACOSTA. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and one assist.

Truckee's record now sits at 26-6. As for Dayton, they moved to 21-9 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Truckee and Moapa Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dayton, they will challenge The Meadows School at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
