It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Edna Karr had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the St. Augustine Purple Knights 49-14. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Edna Karr had a senior duo take command as John Johnson rushed for 21 yards and four scores and Tre Garrison rushed for 166 yards and one TD.

Edna Karr didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ian Gray.

Edna Karr's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for St. Augustine, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.

As of now, neither Edna Karr nor the Purple Knights have any future games scheduled.
