Volleyball Recap: Coconino Comes Up Short

Coconino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Prescott Badgers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Coconino's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Prescott, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Coconino will face off against rival Mohave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Prescott is set to square off against their familiar foe Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
