Basketball Recap: Plainview Bulldogs vs. Liberty Patriots

Plainview lost against Liberty back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost to the Patriots on the road by a 77-58 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Dominic Fulton and Jordan Porter certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Fulton shot 5-for-7 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards, while Porter shot 42% from the field on his way to 17 points. The game was Fulton's sixth in a row with at least 22 points. Jeremiah Esquviel also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Plainview and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Liberty, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
