Basketball Recap: Genoa Central Comes Up Short

Genoa Central lost against Nevada back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Genoa Central Dragons took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nevada Blue Jays. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Genoa Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Nevada, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 25-6.

Genoa Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-37 victory against Fouke on the 7th. As for Nevada, they will take on Emerson at 5:00 a.m. on February 14th. The timing is sure in Nevada's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Emerson has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
