Baseball Recap: Paris Comes Up Short

Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Plata Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Coyotes of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for La Plata, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

Paris has already played their next game (against North Shelby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for La Plata, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Knox County on the 13th.
