Football Recap: Rockwall Starts Season with Win Against Berkner + How To Watch

Rockwall had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Berkner Rams with a sharp 33-12 victory on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Yellowjackets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Rams are ranked 240th).

Rockwall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was AJ Hatcher out in front who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwall will face off against Lake Travis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkner, they will challenge Horn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
