DeLand-Weldon won the last time they faced Donovan and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1.

Donovan's loss came despite strong showings from Bailey Henneike and Piper Michl. Henneike had 16 digs, while Michl had seven digs and four aces. Henneike is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

DeLand-Weldon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Donovan, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-12 record.

Coming up, DeLand-Weldon will welcome Arthur-Okaw Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Donovan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Calvary Christian Academy on the 4th.
