Basketball Recap: Permian Takes a Loss

Permian lost against Midland Legacy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Permian Panthers fell 57-47 to the Midland Legacy Rebels.

Permian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Midland Legacy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Permian Panthers duke it out with the San Angelo Central Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midland Legacy, they will be playing at home against Frenship at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Frenship's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
