Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian lost against Covenant Christian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage Christian may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Ben Bauer paced Heritage Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Bauer got some help from Ethan Gorny and his five assists.

Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Covenant Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-6.

Coming up, Heritage Christian will face off against Irvington Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Heritage Christian is facing Irvington Preparatory Academy at the right time seeing as Irvington Preparatory Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Covenant Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Indianapolis Lutheran on the 10th.
