Columbus International posted their closest  win since January 29th on Thursday. They skirted past the Delaware Christian Eagles  34-32. The  victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Columbus International got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Leila Carter out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 12  boards. Carter is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as she's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Marley Benson, who  posted six  points in addition to five  boards and five  steals.
Columbus International's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Delaware Christian, they moved to 7-2 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Columbus International won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Mifflin  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Columbus International is facing Mifflin at the right time seeing as Mifflin is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Delaware Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll  face off against  Madison Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Delaware Christian's defense has only allowed 26.2  points per game  this season, so Madison Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
