Baseball Recap: Northglenn Comes Up Short

Northglenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Adams City Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Northglenn's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Adams City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northglenn and Adams City will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Norse will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th.
