Volleyball Recap: Ligonier Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ligonier Valley was the 3-1 winner over United when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2 on Monday. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-13 in the first set.

Ligonier Valley actually scored more points across those five sets (107-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 15-11.

Ligonier Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for United, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-11-1.

Coming up, Ligonier Valley will welcome Deer Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United, they will head out to take on Purchase Line at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
