Football Recap: Sigourney-Keota Takes a Loss

Sigourney-Keota fell victim to Mid-Prairie and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Cobras' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Sigourney-Keota's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mid-Prairie, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Sigourney-Keota and Mid-Prairie will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cobras will face off against rival Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mid-Prairie is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
