Moreau Catholic waltzed into their contest on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Miramonte Matadors 8-2. This was payback for the Mariners, who suffered an 8-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Moreau Catholic let Benji Fuentes and Isaiah Clendinen run wild. Fuentes went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Clendinen went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave Clendinen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Elizarrey, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Moreau Catholic's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.
