After a string of four wins, Ferris's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 13-3 to the Mt. Spokane Wildcats. The Saxons were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mt. Spokane, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

While Ferris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
