Legacy Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 21 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 52-31 margin over Stebbins. Given Legacy Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Stebbins is ranked 307th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Legacy Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Audrey Stanley, who scored 9 points along with 9 steals, and Ali Solomon, who scored 20 points along with 5 steals. Solomon is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Alayna Allport was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
New Richmond's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Clinton-Massie's loss dropped theirs to 1-5.
Clinton-Massie came up short against Legacy Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 39-34. Can Clinton-Massie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
