Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds on Friday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leyton Parent, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That hit was Parent's first of the season.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Lima Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lima Central Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 loss against Fort Jennings on the 27th.
