Volleyball Recap: Seaholm Takes a Loss

Seaholm lost against Groves back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Maples fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2. The Maples have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Seaholm wouldn't go down easily and took Groves into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 16-25, 26-28, 17-15.

Seaholm's record now sits at 5-20-1. As for Groves, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Seaholm will face off against rival Avondale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Groves is set to challenge their familiar foe Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
