Baseball Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Providence was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Anthony Saints.

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Anthony, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence will welcome Oakwood at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 2.5, the Owls 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for St. Anthony, they will take on Sage Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
