Football Game Preview: Valley Lutheran vs. Red Rock

Valley Lutheran have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Red Rock at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Valley Lutheran, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They took a serious blow against Veritas Prep last Friday, falling 14-56.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-56, which was the final score in Red Rock's tilt against North Pointe Prep. The state rankings had actually given Red Rock a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
