Football Game Preview: Balboa vs. Harbor

Balboa have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on Harbor at 2:00 PM. Balboa will be strutting in after a win while Harbor will be stumbling in from a loss.

Balboa had to kick off their season on the road three weeks ago, but they showed no ill effects. They took the game and then some with a 47-0 victory over Lynbrook. Balboa were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, Harbor might have drawn first blood against St. Vincent de Paul last Saturday, but it was St. Vincent de Paul who got the last laugh. Harbor fell to St. Vincent de Paul 14-28. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Harbor.

Harbor's loss took them down to 0-2 while Balboa's victory pulled them up to 1-0. A win for Harbor would reverse both their bad luck and Balboa's good luck. We'll see if Harbor manages to pull off that tough task or if Balboa keeps their momentum going instead.
