Baseball Recap: Mayflower Comes Up Short

Mayflower couldn't beat Mountain Pine on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Eagles fell 11-7 to the Red Devils. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mayflower's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Mountain Pine, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mayflower will welcome Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain Pine, they will challenge Dierks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
