Basketball Game Preview: Uxbridge Spartans vs. Hopedale Blue Raiders

The Uxbridge Spartans will head out on the road to take on the Hopedale Blue Raiders at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Uxbridge will bounce into Friday's match after beating Sutton, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Uxbridge came out on top against Sutton by a score of 36-28 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Hopedale sidestepped Douglas for a 33-31 victory.

Uxbridge's record now sits at 15-5. As for Hopedale, their record now sits at 16-4.

Uxbridge ended up a good deal behind Hopedale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 49-33. Can Uxbridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
